The Chamber is pleased to invite you to our next Pharmaceutical Working Group meeting that will be held on Friday 15th December 2006,
2pm simultaneously at the European Chamber offices in Beijing and Shanghai. The meeting will be organized by teleconference and presentations
are made available. The speakers will be located in Beijing.
The agenda of the meeting:
1) Presentation on "Compliance in the pharmaceutical industry in China" - by Beatrijs Vanliedekerke and Darren Buck (PwC)
This topic is very important and will be introduced by experts on industry practices and internal control. If you have any question on this topic, we would
be grateful if you could communicate them ahead of the meeting to Eric Bouteiller (eric.bouteiller@ipsen.com) or Christian Grapow
(Christian.Grapow@solvay.com). Eric Bouteiller will also update us on the status of the RDPAC initiatives.
2) Debriefing on EFPIA Delegation / SFDA Seminar on Market Authorization and next steps - by Eric Bouteiller
3) Forward Agenda 2007 - Group discussion
At our last meeting we briefly discussed the issue of "liaison offices". Since only a very few members expressed an interest in further lobbying action
on this topic, no concrete action has been taken. However, if you think that action should nevertheless be undertaken, please let us know your opinion
ahead of the meeting.
We look forward to seeing you and would appreciate if you could confirm your attendance before Thursday 14th December with
Maurizio Andreano (mandreano@euccc.com.cn) in Shanghai or Caroline Bevernage (cbevernage@euccc.com.cn).
