The European Chamber is delighted to invite you to the MarCom Forum Meeting that will take place on Wednesday, 4th September 2013, starting at 16 pm at the European Chamber Shanghai office. In this meeting, we are pleased to invite and Mr. Jacky Cheng, Managing Director of The Scott Partnership China to give a presentation on “Content Marketing leads the next communications era” and Mr. Johann SUCHON, Managing Director of EDENRED-Accentiv'China to talk about“B2B CRM”.
At this meeting, we will also hold the elections for the MarCom Forum Chairperson and Vice Chairpersons.

Mr. Jacky Cheng, Managing Director of The Scott Partnership China
l Joined The Scott Partnership in January 2010 to build its new China division.
l Before the Scott Partnership, Jacky was also the founder of another B2B communication consultancy’s China operation and had been developing the business successfully for 6 years.
l Worked at the international trade publishing company Ringier, where he held the position of Editor for two of the company’s key publications – “International Plastics Materials News for China” and “International Pharmaceutical Processing & Packaging News for China”.
l Jacky’s expertise includes strategic planning, communication audit, corporate communications, Media training and direct marketing planning.
Mr. Johann SUCHON, Managing director of Edenred-Accentiv' China
l 10 years experience in CRM and strategy consulting, systems implementation and program management at Accenture and Accentiv’ in Europe (France, Netherlands, UK, Italy), USA and Asia (China, Thailand).

Chair / Vice Chair Election
The MarCom Forum Chair and Vice Chairs play a crucial role in driving the Forum. The responsibilities of Chairpersons include taking a leading role in the communicating key messages to the Chinese and European governments, and steering Forum meetings and events. The required characteristics of a Chair and Vice Chair are a senior industry representative with relevant industry expertise and government contacts who has the time and willingness to support the Forum. Previous participation in the Forum is essential.The European Chamber highly encourages all members interested in taking a leading role to put their name forward for election.
Should you be interested in putting yourself forward for candidacy for election, please firstly read the attached document which outlines the roles and responsibilities of a Working Group Chairperson. To apply, each prospective candidate should submit a short bio and a motivation letter at least one week prior to the election to Ms. Tina Ran, by 27th August COB at tran@europeanchamber.com.cn . In the email, please clearly state whether you intend to run for the position of Chair or Vice Chair. Candidates running for the role of Chair, if not successfully elected, can opt to be included as a candidate for Vice Chair. For the MarCom Forum, it is possible to have at most one Chair and two Vice Chairs.
In accordance with European Chamber internal guidelines, the Business Manager will send another email to the Working Group one week prior to the election with the bios and motivation letters of all candidates attached. Voting for the election must be conducted in person at the Working Group meeting (one vote per company) after each candidate has been given an opportunity to give a short speech on why they would like to run for election. The duration of the term for both Chairs and Vice Chairs is one year. All elected Chairpersons must sign the attached Code of Conduct following election.
