The European Chamber invites you to join the next HR Forum meeting, to be held on Monday, 23rd September 2013, starting at 2:00 pm at the European Chamber Beijing Office.
Do you understand the implications of the China’s Labor Dispatch Regulation for your company’s HR strategy for the China Market? How do you ensure consistent HR standards to be met for Expert Relocations (e.g. expatriate) in China’s Tier-2 cities? Speakers Introduction:
Mr. Adam McWhirter, General Manager/China Management Team, Maxxelli Real Estate.
Over the past 5 years Maxxelli has grown from 3 to 13 cities with the two newest cities Shanghai and Beijing. Adam’s focus, since joining Maxxelli in 2008, has always been to ensure incoming assignees receive the most efficient relocation possible. As an entrepreneur in 2nd Tier China the challenges faced were never easy, but Adam has created a model focused on consistency throughout the Maxxelli network. Originally from Northwest Canada Adam has spent that past 11 years focused on China living in both Mainland China and Taiwan.
Mr. Zheng Yu, Partner - Gide Loyrette Nouel Beijing
A partner and member of the Chinese Bar. Before joining Gide in 2004, he worked as an associate for five years at a local law firm in Guangzhou where he developed extensive experience in business-related practice and litigation and was also named a partner. With more than a decade of experience, his practice mainly focuses on foreign direct investments, M&A, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, labor law as well as Chinese outbound investment. Zheng Yu also has significant experience in dispute settlement and arbitration, and real estate. Zheng Yu is currently recommended in real estate and dispute resolution in The Asia Pacific Legal 500.
