The Shanghai Board Election where Shanghai Representative/Vice President-designate, Shanghai Chairman of the Board (1) and Shanghai Board positions (6) are elected, will take place on Thursday, 18 April at Pullman Hotel located at 15 Dapu Road, Huangpu District.
Please allow us to introduce the Election procedure.
Who can vote?
If you meet all the following 4 criteria, you can vote for election:
1) To be a primary contact (the main contact between the European Chamber and your company);
2) A European member company with operations in China;
3) A Member of one of our working groups or forums;
4) With paid dues for the year 2013.
Who can attend the Board Election Meeting?
All members (including those who do not meet the requirements for voting and standing for election), with paid dues, have the right to participate in the event. However only members that meet the above mentioned 4 criteria can vote.

How can I vote?
There are two ways of voting:
1) In person by secret ballot at the Board Election Meeting. Please register your attendance at yangzhao@europeanchamber.com.cn before April 16th. You will receive official confirmation from our events team after verifying your membership status. Please print out and bring the official confirmation with you to the Board Election Meeting.
2) Assign a proxy to vote on your behalf. Please click here to download the form and note that Proxies and those voting by proxy must both be members of the Chamber in good standing. The Proxy should be returned to the Liaison Office in Shanghai by April the 16th (proxies returned after this deadline won’t be accepted). The number of proxies a member can hold is maximum 5.
The nomination period is officially closed.
