Mr. Luc Miroslaw
Luc Miroslaw is Director of Operations for Kingfisher Sourcing Organisation (KSO). Kingfisher is the leading European DIY retailer with B&Q in the UK, Castorama, Brico Depot in France, Poland, Russia. The KSO has offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, HCMC, Istanbul and Warsaw, delivering 20% of the goods sold. He is responsible for developing capability to deliver CPR (Cost Price Reduction) targets as well as manage a organizational change program. Prior to that role, Luc was Head of Quality for the KSO also in charge of CSR and packaging. Before Kingfisher, he worked for RT Sourcing in Shenzhen on both technical and sourcing leadership roles. He started his career in manufacturing for Procter & Gamble in France.
Mr. Filip Flowers
Filip Flowers has over 30 years as a Quality Professional worked in many different countries and cultures such as South Africa, Brazil, China, Vietnam, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and The UK. Filip Flowers did an apprenticeship in Metallurgy and worked in the metal bashing industry for the early part of his career, the moved to South Africa and got involved in the manufacture of wooden doors and have been involved in wooden products and furniture ever since. Filip Flowers spent the last 6 years here in China in Gungzhou Foshan and Shenzhen.
Mr. David Tung
David TUNG is Director of Purchasing for a Sino-French carmaker CAPSA (Chang An – Peugeot Citroen) located in Shenzhen. As the automobile joint venture with the largest investment in recent years, CAPSA integrates the development of local brand and new energy vehicle into its planning. With the initial annual production capacity of 200,000 vehicles and engines. The joint venture will initially introduce the premium line of DS to offer customized, innovative and refined premium vehicles to Chinese customer. As managing 300 components suppliers with high level requests on quality, delivery and costs, we apply the best automobile standards to perform the premium standard request in our daily work with suppliers. Graduated from French Engineering School Arts et Métiers Paris Tech, David speaks Mandarin, French and English. He spend all career in PSA group in Purchasing including 6 years in China through positions in global sourcing, supplier and supplies development, direct material sourcing and joint-venture creation.
Mr. Renaud Anjoran
China Manufacturing Consultants is a firm that helps manufacturers improve their operations and performance. Renaud has been working in China, in the quality assurance & improvement field, for more than 10 years.
Renaud is an ASQ-certified quality engineer and a certified ISO 9001 lead auditor. He published articles or was quoted in Quality Progress, the New Yorker, the Los Angeles Times, and Yahoo Finance.
Mr. Ben Simpfendorfer
Ben Simpfendorfer is Managing Director and Founder of Silk Road Associates, a strategy consultancy based in Hong Kong with offices in Beijing and Melbourne.
Ben has worked in Asia and the Middle East for the past 20-years. He was previously a chief China economist at RBS and senior China economist at JPMorgan based in Hong Kong. He is also author of The Rise of the New East (Palgrave: 2014), examining commercial opportunities and complexities in the Asia market, and The New Silk Road (Palgrave: 2009), exploring China’s commercial ties with the Middle East. Ben speaks Mandarin and Arabic. He also writes a regular column for FT.com’s beyondbrics and features on CNBC, Bloomberg, and CNN.
