The European Chamber Shanghai is delighted to invite you to an afternoon seminar with Dr. Andreas Schwab, Member of the European Parliament, on current trends and development of the European common market.
To overcome the Euro Crisis, resolute decisions on the future institutional framework of the European Single Market and political decision process have to be made by European politicians. At the same time the common market becomes more and more attractive for foreign, especially Chinese investment.
Which decisions on the institutional framework of the European banking and financial system are to be expected in the forthcoming months? Which further steps towards a deeper integration of the European Common Market are currently discussed among the European Commission and Parliament? What are the prospects for the Sino-European trade and investment agreements? How can fair and equal access to both markets be guaranteed?
The European Chamber in cooperation with Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Shanghai is pleased to invite you to an afternoon seminar with Dr. Andreas Schwab, Member of the European Parliament, to discuss the latest discussion on the development and regulations of the European Single Market, i.e. Public procurement, IPR and foreign investment regulations.
Mr. Schwab is barrister by profession and Member of the European Parliament since 2004. He is currently European People’s Party (EPP) Group Coordinator in the Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection and Substitute of the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs.
