The Rail Working Group was re-established in 2020. It consists of manufacturers of vehicles, infrastructure, signal, traction and braking systems, as well as service providers, in the rail industry. The working group represents the common interests of the European rail industry, focussing on issues such as market access and fair competition, participation in national and third-country infrastructure projects, and standardisation activities.
