The Research and Development (R&D) Working Group was created in 2014 in order to deepen the work of the former Research and Development Forum of the European Chamber. The working group aims to provide a single interlocutor for European businesses to engage with the European and Chinese local and central authorities and offer input on topics related to research and innovation. The Research and Development Working Group is composed of professionals directly involved in R&D operations from more than 50 multinational corporations that have R&D centres and large-scale R&D operations in China.
