The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Forum is an event‐driven platform that regularly
organises meetings, training and events of interest to all European Chamber members. Acting
as an interactive platform, the forum aims to enhance CSR visibility, while promoting best
practices established by European companies and emphasising the importance of a strategic
and innovative approach to CSR. This forum also fosters CSR communication, collaboration
and co‐innovation between European Chamber members and Chinese government agencies,
professional organisations, local business partners and non‐governmental organisations
(NGOs), as well as Chinese society at large. In line with the European Union Strategy on CSR,
the forum defines CSR as the responsibility of enterprises to contribute towards creating a
sustainable society, environment and economy.
