Job description
Our customer an European manufacturing company leader in the pumping industry, is now recruiting a Sales Manager for China.
The chosen candidate will develop and implement sales strategies for Company products in China market adhering to Company’s objectives and forecast.
The candidte will be responsible:
Ø to create a network of dealers that will have to develop the sales of the products
Ø to visit customers on personal initiative or on General Manager’s indication
Ø to prepare offers in the company’s format and always following the company policies in terms of pricing, payment/delivery terms
Ø to manage commercial meetings with customers
Ø to manage the project execution curating the relationship with customers from pre-sale activities to after-sales
Ø to propose to the General Manager the necessity of new products or new marketing tools (ie dedicated brochures or price lists or catalogues)
Ø to write “visit reports” for each visit or meeting done with the customers
Ø to aid the General Manager in drafting the annual sales budget
He shall also ensure that:
Ø the sales targets defined at the beginning of each year
Ø the relationships with the actual and new customers
Ø the trade receivables are paid on time
Ø that customers’ commercial and technical questions are properly addressed
Reporting:
He/she reports to:
Ø the General Manager
He/she has the following direct subordinates
Ø 2/3 Chinese sales engineers according to the growth of the turnover of the function
He/she has the following internal direct main interface functions:
Ø the “Technical Manager” for the managing of offers
