Positive overview:
The Designer will work with marketing department closely, and report to project manager. The designer will be responsible for the design all the marketing material (social media, conference, newsletter, poster, website etc) and will also be responsible for all other creative design work relating to events, marketing and other publications. The candidate needs to be highly innovative and have creative design experience.
Responsibilities:
- Videos and backdrop produced for big event, templates for digital ad banners for association events or announcements, and online ad design;
- Manage association photo library;
- Responsible for delivering designs according to specifications and branding guidelines;
- Manage schedules and workload with marketing assistant, estimating the time required to complete all design tasks;
- Prepare printing proofs;
- Responsible for directing photographers for event photography on the best way to present their work for use in the publication;
- The other design and project duties as required.
Skills & experience
Requirements:
- One year experience in creative artwork for printing – either with print media or ad agencies;
- A bachelor's degree, with an emphasis on courses in graphic design;
- Fluent communication in Chinese and English (reading and listening).
Experience:
- Artistic sensibility and creativity – sound knowledge of design elements, such as colour and composition;
- Profound knowledge of publication-related design software, such as InDesign, PhotoShop or Illustrator, etc;
- Possess strong communication skills – ability to effectively present ideas, both verbally and visually.
