About the company
China Policy is a globally recognised policy analysis and strategic advisory firm headquartered in Beijing. We build client knowledge and provide tools to map, analyse and respond to China’s changing policies and market environments.
Job description
We are currently recruiting a group of part-time analysts to join our trade; industry; science and innovation; social policy and finance and macroeconomy portfolios. As part of a team, analysts drive the analytical base of a portfolio, tracking and mapping policy developments and commentary, and drafting in clear English.
We are expanding our team in 2019 to include an off-site, distributed network of part-time analysts who will work with our core group in Beijing. New entry-level positions will create opportunities for MA candidates, scholars keen to improve their structural and sectoral knowledge of how policy is developed and transmitted in China, while studying or researching.
For committed candidates who can consistently produce quality and timely work, the new positions will offer opportunities to work sequentially, if desired, in a range of portfolios, and a potential path to full-time positions after graduation. Full-time analysts pursue a policy-related career with China Policy; or they remain with us for a couple of years, during which they deepen and extend their policy understanding ahead of PhD study. (China Policy analysts have an outstanding record of acceptance and success in top PhD programs).
Advanced written English is a core requirement.
