Job description
The European Chamber of Commerce in China is an independent, non-profit organization representing the interests of European enterprises in China. The Chamber is seeking greater market access and improved operating conditions for European companies in China. To achieve this goal, the Chamber promotes regular dialogue with government agencies both in China and Europe.
To strengthen the Chambers Government Affairs team, we offer an internship position at the Chamber’s Beijing office. We offer regular training, an international working environment and an insight into the working style of multinational companies.
The current intern position will support Chamber’s business managers in the working groups of cosmetics, fashion and leather.
Skills & experience
- University student, bachelor of third year or above. Graduate student is preferred
-Major: English, Economy, Business, Public Policy, International Relations, Transport or relevant social science degrees are preferred;
-Excellent command of spoken and written English and Mandarin;
-Good communication skills;
-Self-motivated, independent working style;
-Previous work experience is an advantage.
Duration: 4-5 days per week, 6 months
Start: September, 2019
The interns are entitled to a daily stipend of RMB100 before tax from the 1st day of internship. Upon completion of a six-month internship, the intern will receive a recommendation letter signed by the Secretary General of European chamber for future reference.
