About the company
The Conference of Asia Pacific Express Carriers was established in 1996 and represents three leading Express Delivery Service (EDS) companies in Asia DHL, FedEx and UPS. Since its establishment, CAPEC has closely cooperated and consulted with various governments to advocate for the interests of the EDS industry and promote trade and economic growth in China and the Asia Pacific region.
On 12 September 2005, CAPEC China was incorporated and headquartered in Beijing. Since then, CAPEC China has represented its members to collaborate closely with government agencies, regulators and industry associations; participate actively in policy consultations and dialogues affecting the EDS industry; be involved in plans to develop the logistics sector; promote tax reform in the logistics sector; and cooperate closely with finance and customs officials to reduce trade barriers.
CAPEC will continue to promote and protect the interests of the logistics sector, through enhancing and deepening relationships with the relevant government authorities to facilitate positive and effective discussions and interactions, to boost China’s international trade and integration with the global economy.
