About the company
The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China was founded in 2000 by 51 member companies that shared a goal of establishing a common voice for the European businesses operating in China. It is a members-driven, non-profit, fee-based organisation with a core structure of over 25 working groups and forums representing European business in China.
The European Chamber now has more than 1700 members in 7 chapters operating in 9 cities: Beijing, Nanjing, Shanghai, Shenyang, South China (Guangzhou and Shenzhen), Southwest China (Chengdu and Chongqing), and Tianjin.
The Chamber is recognised as the official voice of European business in China.
Job description
Job description:
1. Events Management - responsible for confirmation to people's registrations for events, relevant events information statistics maintenance and outputting the data.
2. Onsite management - responsible for the registration desk (set up, banners, brochures, registration lists, collecting entrance fees, issuing receipts, photos, meeting minutes etc.) of Guangzhou events.
3. Website management - Responsible for making events newsletters, designing events flyers, managing the subscription background of newsletters, and updating the information and news of member companies.

Skills & experience
1. Undergraduate, 5 days/ week, at least 6 months.
2. Excellent command of spoken and written English and Mandarin.
3. Skillful in Excel, Outlook, Photoshop or Canva or any other editing and graphic design software or websites.
4. Organizational, communication, social and presentation skills. Experience in management or office assistant is preferred.
5. Basic financial or accounting skill is preferred.
The internship will run for 6 months with a stipend of 1,000 RMB per month. Upon successful completion of the internship, a letter of recommendation from the Chamber will be provided as a reference.
