On August 26th, the Paediatric Nutrition Desk submitted a lobby letter to the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) on Article 42 in the consultation draft of Administrative Measures of Food Labeling. The Article includes a new requirement to label the base powder used in infant formula product. The lobby letter emphasized industry's analysis and concerns on this requirement and also explicated the recommendation to remove this requirement from the Administrative Measures.
