On the 21st June, the European Chamber met with Commissioner Karel De Gucht.The Commissioner debriefed the representatives of the European Chamber about the EU-China Joint Committee meeting, the current EU trade policy agenda with China and globally and briefly mentioned the solar panels case. The European Chamber debriefed the Commissioners on its current priorities and current lobby priorities. The meeting ended with the European Chamber making two recommendations regarding the definition of private capital used by Chinese authorities and the need of a database tracking Chinese ODI to Europe.
