Due to unforeseen circumstances, DG Lin will arrive at 10:00am instead of 9:30am as initially planned. The event will keep the same format and length but it will start at 10am. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
This event will be in Chinese only. Please also note that due to the large number of registrations the room has been upgraded to the Beijing Ballroom on the 3rd floor of the Four Seasons. The price for members has also been reduced from RMB 400 to RMB 300.
Since its implementation on 1st October, China's new 'Food Safety Law' has been an issue of keen attention for both the European Chamber and AmCham China.
To discuss key components of this new law including: regulation changes on importing and exporting; trends and reforms in ports and customs supervision; and plans for new regulations on food and cosmetics imports and exports over the next two years, we are pleased to welcome Director General Lin Wei of the Bureau of Import and Export Food Safety, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ), for an exclusive policy debriefing.
This is a unique opportunity for our members to hear more about the new “Food Safety Law” directly from the agency responsible. This event will be conducted in Chinese.
