The European Chamber is pleased to invite you to the next joint Private Equity and Strategic M&A and Legal & Competition Working Groups meeting. It will be held on Friday, 11th December starting at 16:00 at the European Chamber’s offices linking Beijing and Shanghai via videoconference.
At this meeting we will have the pleasure to welcome Ms Cara Meng and Mr Stephen Wu, Senior Associate, Taylor Wessing. Ms Meng and Mr Wu will give a presentation on MOFCOM rules on foreign-invested enterprises.

China’s Ministry of Commerce (“MOFCOM”) issued a decision on October 28, 2015, with effectiveness on the same day, to amend 29 departmental rules and normative documents. A greater part of the amendments concerns foreign investment related rules. Ms. Cara Meng and Mr. Stephen Wu from Taylor Wessing Shanghai office would like to lead you through the most relevant parts of the MOFCOM amendments on foreign investment and share with you their thoughts on the legal and practical implications thereof.
