With the expansion of VAT reforms to the most difficult sectors under VAT regime- financial and insurance, real estate and construction, and lifestyle services, Business Tax will be finally replaced by Value Added Tax (“VAT”) in 2016 as announced by Mr. Lou Ji Wei, the Minister of Finance, on 28th of December 2015.
