About Automotive Roundtable Series
The “Automotive Roundtable Series” features a number of selected roundtable events, which aims to connect the industry, exchange ideas and discuss business opportunities and challenges in China. The Roundtables are conveniently held outside the chamber and coordinated primarily by G-I-Events. As the Strategic Partner to G-I-Events, chamber members will enjoy reserved speaking slots for presentation and panel discussion for the selected roundtables.

March Automotive Roundtable: Will Industry 4.0 Reshape the Automotive Industry in China?
With the automotive industry - from OEMs to suppliers - gradually stepping into the "Industry 4.0" era, the whole automotive ecosystem from production line to sales network, from business model to big data - will be changed accordingly. The March Automotive Roundtable will gather experts to discuss whether Industry 4.0 will reshape the automotive industry in China in regards to the perspectives of factory planning, smart factory, big data, data safety and IT safety, electronic works, mass customization and so on.

Mr. Xia Wei graduated from University of Science and Technology of China in 1989. In 2001, Mr. Xia joined Siemens as sales representative for OEM business, successively participated in some important business of Siemens, laying a solid foundation for the development of OEM business. In Sep. 2007, Mr. Xia was appointed as Shenzhen Office Manager of A&D Region South. In 2012, Mr. Xia took over the position of DF VSS‐AUTO General Manager.

Neil Hickey is a Managing Director in Accenture Digital and the IoT and Mobility Lead in Greater China. Mr. Hickey has over 22 years of business development, consulting and professional services experience in the technology, automotive, retail and utilities industries. His area of expertise includes digital transformation, mobile strategy, connected products, embedded systems, smart devices, digital ecosystem enablement and marketing/sales programs. Mr. Hickey has worked closely with some of the largest and most successful global brands and technology companies in the world on transformational initiatives using mobility to optimize and refine their strategies and business direction. He has made significant contributions in the development and deployment of digital and mobile business models and solutions across ecosystem stakeholders around the globe.

Moderator: Mr. Joffre Castilla Breininger, Account Manager, hartung:consult (Shanghai)
Mr. Castilla Breininger is Account Manager with a strong focus on Industry 4.0 at the IT-company hartung:consult. He assists foreign invested companies to set up their IT landscapes in China and is familiar with global ERP requirements. After having studied in Barcelona, Berlin and Hangzhou, he worked for an international business advisory firm in Shenzhen prior to joining hartung:consult in Shanghai.

Mr. Wen Bin, Deputy General Manager, VDMA Beijing Representative Office
Joined VDMA Beijing office since June 2005. As project manager responsible liaison work for VDMA textile machinery association, VDMA Plastics and Rubber machinery association and VDMA Foreign trade department in China. Became deputy general manager of VDMA Beijing office in 2013. Before, worked as mechanical engineer and business manager for German machinery Manufacture Company and Chinese international trade company for more than 10 years.
