We would love to hear your feedback, and it just takes a minute.
The increasing attention being placed on construction-related accidents or disasters such as Tianjin, has increased quality awareness in the market. People and organizations alike are conscious of the high cost of low quality, especially in terms of maintenance and replacement costs. This will also drive authorities to step up their enforcement of regulations to ensure the safety of their buildings and infrastructure.
The rising labor cost in China is also driving the demand for long-term investments. Organizations are increasingly looking into solutions that can maximize the lifetime of their facilities. Quality control and assurance throughout each stage of the construction project is a key factor affecting their decisions.
TÜV SÜD and The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China (EUCCC) will be co-hosting a half-day industry event to address and tackle the issues facing the Chinese construction industry. Backed by real case studies and examples, we will be addressing the importance of ensuring safety and quality throughout each stage of a construction project and key activities that can solve the challenges at the top of industry stakeholders’ minds.
