The European Chamber is pleased to invite you to the next Government Affairs Forum Meeting. It will be held on Thursday 12 May, from 14:30 to 16:30 pm, at the European Chamber Beijing Office.
At this meeting, Mr. Rob Koepp, Director of the Economist Corporate Network will talk about the 13th Five-Year Plan adopted at the “Two Sessions”, which has great impact on member companies operating in China, share his insightful perspectives on the Plan and interact with participants after his presentation.
We will hold 2016-2017 Chair elections. The Chair and Vice Chair of the GA Forum play a crucial role in driving the Forum, which includes a leadership role in the drafting of the Position Paper, communicating key messages to Chinese and European government authorities and steering Forum meetings. The desired characteristics of a Chair and Vice Chairs are a senior industry representative with relevant industry expertise and government contacts who has the time and willingness to support the Forum. Previous participation in the Forum is essential. The maximum duration of Chairmanship or Vice Chairmanship of a Forum is three consecutive years.

Voting for the election, one vote per company, must be conducted in person at the Forum meeting. The duration of the term for both Chair and Vice Chair is one year.
