About Automotive Roundtable Series
The “Automotive Roundtable Series” features a number of selected roundtable events, which aim to connect the industry, exchange ideas and discuss business opportunities and challenges in China. The Roundtables are conveniently held outside the chamber and coordinated primarily by G-I-Events. As the Strategic Partner to G-I-Events, chamber members will enjoy reserved speaking slots for presentation and panel discussion for the selected roundtables.

Automotive Roundtable Series
- Challenges for Medium Sized Automotive Suppliers Operating in China -
China as one the world’s largest automotive market is attracting more and more foreign suppliers to be part of this exciting market. Besides of the big automotive suppliers, the medium sized automotive suppliers are playing an important role in the automotive industry in China. Despite huge potentials for these companies developing their business in China, challenges incl. Copyright/IP, Administration, Taxation, Cash Flow, Localization, etc. are bringing up some extra hurdles for Medium Sized suppliers.
The May Automotive Roundtable is bringing together leading managers of different medium sized suppliers to discuss their case studies and share their experiences to operate successfully in China.

Grace Shi founded ECOVIS Beijing together with the German co-founder Richard Hoffmann. She has over 15 years of experience in accounting, auditing, tax as well as legal advisory services in both international accounting firms and large domestic corporations. As head of the 40 employees strong Ecovis Beijing office she has her focus on Foreign Direct Investment with special regard to cross-border legal and tax structures.

Moderator: Mr. Markus Schultz, General Manager, ViscoTec Greater China (Shanghai)
Mr. Schultz is living and working in Greater China (Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai) since 2002, and speaks Mandarin as well as Cantonese. With nearly 20 years of China experience he built up the newly founded FICE in Shanghai since its establishment in 2013.
ViscoTec was founded 20 years ago and is the leading supplier of original dispensing technology for highly viscous, filled and/or shear sensitive adhesives, mainly used in the Automotive and Hi-Tech Electronics manufacturing, e.g. mobile phones and handheld devices.
