Sherry‘s practice focuses on data privacy and cyber security, government regulatory, commercial contracts, foreign direct investment, and employment. She has extensive experience with in-depth knowledge of the TMT industry in China and is an expert in data privacy and cybersecurity, third party payment license, and ecommerce. She is familiar with the legal needs of our TMT clients, having advised extensively on a wide-range of matters in this sector including complicated market entry and regulatory issues, and industry-specific licenses. She helps clients implement data privacy and cybersecurity compliance programs under CSL, DSL and PIPL. She serves as a core team member of Hogan Lovells’ technology and telecommunication industry sector group and leads the firm in relation to its role in the Information Security Management Working Group of the National Information Security Standardization Technical Committee ("TC260 Committee") in China since 2020.
