Following the last conversation on NGO law in early June, the Legal & Competition working group and CSR Forum will have a joint meeting with members of the American Chamber of Commerce in China (AmCham China) to further discuss the new NGO Law from 9:30 -10:30 am on Friday, 1st July in the office of the European Chamber (room C411A of the Lufthansa Centre, 50 Liangmaqiao Road). This meeting will be in an informal setting and free of charge for both European Chamber and AmCham China members.
It is planned for the meeting to focus on the following items:
- Sharing thoughts about major concerns regarding the law;
- Current advocacy strategies and brainstorming potential avenues of collaboration/coordination; and
- The possibility of collaborating on a short survey on Chamber members’ views of the law, and how we might use the results of such a survey.
This meeting will take place in European Chamber Beijing Office and will be linked to European Chamber Shanghai Office through a video con-call system.
