R&D Working Group
Upcoming Working Group Meeting:

Dear R&D Working Group Member,
Please join us at the next R&D Working Group meeting which will take place on Monday 12th September at 09:30 in Shanghai. We will be discussing a new EU project which aim to ensure that EU companies and Chinese companies have access on equal terms to research funding programs in both the EU and China. One of the key project objectives is for the project team to engage in direct consultation with European industry involved in R&D activities in China on their experiences with the Chinese government research funding application processes.
Information collected through consultation will contribute to an understanding of the practical experiences, challenges and opportunities faced by EU S&T stakeholders in applying for Chinese funding.
The European Chamber would like to examine whether the R&D WG members can assist in the implementation of this project by facilitating consultation between the project team and the WG members. A fundamental stipulation of all such consultation with EU companies will be conducted anonymously and confidentially with regards to any specific company name or other proprietary data. Rather the data gathered will be statistical or anecdotal from a sector perspective.
