The European Chamber, together with other 12 partners, is an associate partner to the Consortium which was awarded the EU-China Innovation Platform on Sustainable Urbanization, a project promoted by the European Commission’s Horizon 2020, with a budget of Euros 1,5 million for a duration of three years. The purpose of the project is to create a platform to bring together a wide-ranging partnership of stakeholders in Europe and China for developing and piloting innovative solutions in sustainable urbanisation that rely on advanced knowledge and technologies.
At this meeting, Ms. Annemie Wyckmans, Acting Dean at the Faculty of Architecture and Fine Art and Head of the (Norwegian University of Science and Technology) NTNU Smart Cities group, and lead of the Consortium which will implement the project, will provide a brief presentation on the status of the project and the next steps as well as the concrete opportunities members of the European Chamber may enjoy by engaging in the EU-China Innovation Platform on Sustainable Urbanization.
