Mr. Jörg Wuttke
Mr. Jörg Wuttke
Jörg Wuttke is Vice President and Chief Representative of BASF China, based in Beijing. Since joining BASF in 1997, Mr. Wuttke has been responsible for helping guide the company’s investment strategies for China, negotiation of large projects and government relations.
Previous to joining BASF, Mr. Wuttke worked with ABB for 11 years; in fact his first professional encounter with China was in 1988 as the Finance and Administration Manager of ABB Beijing. In 1990, he returned to Germany as Sales Manager of ABB Power Plants Division, responsible for gas turbine sales to Africa and Russia. In 1993, he became Chief Representative ABB China in Shanghai and in 1994 moved to the President's Office of ABB China in Beijing, where he was responsible for the development and financing of large projects.
From 2001 to 2004 Mr. Wuttke was the Chairman of the German Chamber of Commerce in China. From 2007 to 2010, 2014 to 2017, and since May 2019 again he is the President of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China
From 2011 to 2019, Mr. Wuttke was Chairman of the BIAC China Task Force of the Business and Industry Advisory Committee to the OECD (BIAC), a Paris based body of major business associations that lobbies the OECD.
From 2013 to 2016, and again since 2019 Mr. Wuttke is Vice Chairman of the CPCIF International Cooperation Committee, a group representing Multinational Companies in China’s Chemical Association.
Since its establishment in 2013, Mr. Wuttke is member of the Advisory Board of Germany’s foremost Think Tank on China, Mercator Institute for China Studies (MERICS), in Berlin.
In January 2019 Mr. Wuttke joined the International Board of the Stars Foundation, in Switzerland. stars - for Leaders of the Next Generation.
Ms. Celina Chew
Ms. Celina Chew
Celina Chew is currently the President of Bayer Greater China and Chairman of Bayer (China) Limited, based in Shanghai.
Prior to this, from 2011 to 2014, Celina was the Country Group Head for the Bayer Group, North ASEAN region (Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos) and Managing Director of Bayer Thai Co Limited, based in Bangkok, Thailand. She continues to have overall responsibility for Bayer’s operations and activities in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar.
Before 2011, Celina spent over 20 years working as a lawyer in China, both at an international law firm (Clifford Chance) as well as in the in-house legal department of Bayer. For most of those 20 years, she was Head of Legal for Bayer in Greater China. She was also a member of the Bayer China Corporate Management Team in her capacity as Head of Legal and also with responsibility for coordinating Bayer’s Sustainability initiatives in China.
Celina graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 1992 with the Masters of Laws (with Distinction) and hold a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) from the University of Western Australia in 1989.
In addition to business management and legal practice, Celina also has a strong interest in social entrepreneurship, social innovation, green initiatives and sustainable development issues.
Ms. Joanne Wood
Ms. Joanne Wood
Joanne Wood is a 40-year veteran investment banker turned tech investor and entrepreneur.
In 2006, she founded Capital Eight, a corporate finance house headquartered in Shanghai, advising clients on a wide range of M&A, debt and equity capital raising, corporate restructure and infrastructure financing. Joanne previously worked in senior corporate finance positions with UBS, Jardine Fleming and GE Capital across Europe, the USA and Greater China, and was internationally ranked as a leading Asian-emerging markets advisor.
In 2012, Joanne began mentoring tech startups in China, advising aspiring entrepreneurs as an accredited mentor of Silicon Valley’s SOSV accelerator programs. She now mentors globally, and also serves on the Advisory Boards of a UAE-headquartered Web3 infrastructure platform, an Italian biotech and an Australian new energy venture. In 2023, she joined the founding team of a pioneering Singapore agri-tech developing a proprietary range of alternative plant-based proteins from farm waste.
Over the last 20 years, she has been active in the local community serving as Chair of the British Chamber’s Financial Services Group, Chair of the American Chamber’s Ethics Council, inaugural Chair of the National Australian Chamber Greater China and Vice Chair of the EU Chamber’s Investment Working Group. She is a staunch advocate of female entrepreneurship and the empowerment of women in business.
Joanne is a regular speaker at international conferences and often asked for her views on the China investment environment. She holds an MBA from London Business School, a B. Arts degree from the University of Adelaide, South Australia and reads, writes and speaks Mandarin.
Ms. Bettina Schoen-Behanzin

Bettina Schoen-Behanzin entered Freudenberg Group in October 2012. As Regional Representative Asia she has been leading the Regional Corporate Center, based in Shanghai, China and is providing guidance and support for strategic planning and business development for the Freudenberg Business Groups in the region. From March 2008 to September 2012 she served as Managing Director of Wittur Elevator Components, China. She assumed the role of Managing Director of Rittal Electro-Mechanical Technology, China from 2000 to 2008, after having been the General Manager of Rittal in China as well as Sales and Marketing Manager of Rittal in Singapore. She had joined the Rittal Headquarters in Germany in 1992.
Bettina Schoen-Behanzin has acquired a Master degree in Sinology, Business Economics and Political Science at the Ruhr-University in Bochum, Germany. Furthermore, she did Post-Graduate Studies of Chinese and Economics at Fudan University, Shanghai, China.
Speaking Chinese fluently, Bettina Schoen-Behanzin has around 25 years of working experience in Asia, mostly in China, leading operational business as well acting in corporate functions. From April 2014 to April 2016 she served as Director of the Board of the German Chamber Shanghai, being reelected in April 2016 and April 2018 as President of the Board of the German Chamber Shanghai. In 2019, she was the first German woman to receive Shanghai Municipal Government’s Magnolia Gold Award.

Of French nationality, Sylvain Dubois graduated in 1991 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technological University of Compiegne (UTC), France. He also holds an MBA from l’IAE (Sorbonne Graduate Business School) in Paris and a Master of Science from Cranfield University, UK. Alumnus of INSEAD, he attended the Advanced Management program (AMP) and International Directors Program. His international career spans across important roles in companies in the automotive industry.
He began his career in Peguform as Project Manager and Sales & Marketing Manager; followed by a successful career with Valeo in the UK, USA and Spain, becoming in 2002 Program Director Purchasing at Valeo Group Headquarters in Paris.
In 2005 he joined Magneti Marelli Automotive Lighting as Vice President Purchasing based in Stuttgart.
Sylvain then spent an exciting four years with Ferrari in Maranello as Purchasing and Supplier Development Director from 2007 to 2010, returning to Magneti Marelli Automotive Lighting in 2011 as General Manager for China and later appointed Managing Director for Asia. Since July 2015, he is also Chairman and CEO for Magneti Marelli China.

Guglielmo joined Eni in July 2009 in the International HR Management Coordination office of Polimeri Europa (now Versalis). In this position he provided the coordination and support for the human resources management of companies based outside Italy through the implementation of Eni guidelines for the harmonization of HR policies, until end 2012.
In this role he was responsible also for the management of Versalis expatriates.
Appraised for the expertise he had been able to develop, he was seconded to Shanghai. Since November 2012 Guglielmo Genovese is responsible for the Human Resources at Versalis Pacific and Eni Lubricants (Refining and Marketing Division), setting up and ensure all the HR activities in developing and growing environments following all the Asia Pacific Area.
During the recent Years Guglielmo Genovese opened and manage as HR Manager the whole Asia Pacific Commercial Network. Additionally in 2016 he was appointed as Branch Manager of the newly opened Korea Branch of Versalis Pacific.
Guglielmo Genovese, holds a degree in Business Administration and a Master in Human Resources Management from "Bocconi" University of Milan. He also recently earned, at Shanghai Campus, an Executive MBA degree from HULT International Business School.

Mr. Stephen Joseph Burke is the Vice President of HR and Continuous Improvement in Lego Group. Burke has over 30 years experience in Organizational development, deployment and coaching in numerous industries.
Burke holds a Master Degree in Psychology and a MBA in Leadership.
He speaks Danish, German, Spanish and Gaelic.

Andrew Houlbrook is a former analyst at Scotland Yard / Metropolitan Police in London, UK and was early involved in developing “real-time” intelligence on internet and social media. After 7 years at Scotland Yard Andrew joined PSU in 2015 with a responsibility to develop PSU business intelligence processes to better support investigations and strengthen customers' compliance needs. Andrew is the director of PSU Shanghai office. Andrew have a Master of informatics from the University of Edinburgh.

HR Director of Pirelli APAC Marco Di Pierri joined the company in 2015 after more than 12 year of intense experience in HR management in International and Multinational Companies, where he covered different positions as HR Professional.
After a short experience in Consultancy, he Joined Unilever as HR Plant Manager for the main Italian site of Ice Cream & Frozen Food division.
After that, due to interest for Cars, he moved on to Ferrari where he had the unique opportunity to be Business Partner for different business areas such as F1 Racing Team, Operations and Global Sales & Marketing. Driven by the interest in people, strongly convinced that the capabilities of people can make a difference, he generates values for Companies.

In this role, Stella is responsible for leading and managing the team comprising functions of Human Resources, IT, Facility Management, EHS, Compliance, Legal and General Administration. In HR function, as a Strategic Business Partner, she has contributed on the new RND AP organization set up from threshold and dedicated for driving organization design, leadership development and culture establishment.
Stella holds an EMBA degree of University of Texas at Arlington, U.S. and has over 14 years leadership experience in multinational companies. Previous HR, Stella also has worked as Marketing Head at Sika in the Greater China Region from 2006 to 2010.

David has been in the China recruitment industry since early 2007 and currently lead our China offices to provide tailored services in Senior Executive Searches, Mid-Management Level Recruitment and Talent Management. Prior to taking up the management role in Morgan Philips, he has been successful in delivering senior executive searches in key major cities across China, South Korea, India and South East Asia. Over the years, together with his team, David has delivered over hundreds of searches covering General Management, Operation, Sales & Marketing and Technical/R&D functions. Prior to this, David was the co-founder of an internet start-up that was funded by the Ministry of Finance in Malaysia. He was also twice the finalist in the annual Asia Pacific ICT Award nominations. He holds a Business Degree in International Marketing.
