Be it companies or sports teams, the most successful organizations follow a ‘next man up’ philosophy in replacing top talent. To implement this approach successfully requires an organizational commitment to developing employees at all levels and a belief that organizational culture and the capacity for development is stronger than any individual.
The European Chamber is delighted to welcome Shaun Renwick, Site HR Director for the Procter & Gamble Beijing Research & Development Center to lead this discussion. Shaun’s employer is well known as setting the industry benchmark in people development, with 95% of all P&G employees having originally joined the company at entry level. Shaun will share some of his personal insight into building from within and how a commitment to lifelong learning can be implemented in practice to drive employee development.
Please note at this event we will also hold elections for Chair and Vice Chairs of the HR Forum in Beijing. Having served 3 terms as Chair, Fernando Cutanda is no longer eligible to run and a new Chair will be elected at this meeting.
