On 14th-15th May, President Xi Jinping hosted the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF) in the presence of 29 heads of state. In a joint communiqué issued following the summit, the list of BRF deliverables included 76 items comprising more than 270 results in five key areas; policy, infrastructure, trade, financial, and people-to-people connectivity. It also pledged China's commitment to opening up, promoting free and inclusive trade worldwide, and to sharing the benefits with other countries.
5月14日至15日,习近平主席主持了“一带一路”国际合作高峰论坛圆桌峰会(以下简称“高峰论坛”),共29位外国元首出席。大会各方通过了联合公报,并发布了高峰论坛成果清单。清单主要涵盖政策沟通、设施联通、贸易畅通、资金融通、民心相通5大类,共76大项、270多项具体成果。中方承诺致力于建设开放型经济、确保自由包容性贸易、未来将为各方带来更多福祉。
The European Chamber, partnering with AmCham China, invites you to attend an exclusive dialogue with Mr Zhang Xiaoqiang, former Vice Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and Executive Vice Chairman of the China Centre for International Economic Exchanges (CCIEE). The CCIEE hosted one of the BRF’s thematic sessions, focusing on think tank exchanges. On behalf of the CCIEE, Mr Zhang Xiaoqiang will share his insights with members from both chambers on the BRF achievements, the future plan for the Belt and Road initiative and the opportunities for foreign companies operating in China.
