The Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) issued the Revised Administrative Measures on Internet News Information Services <互联网新闻信息服务管理规定> on May 2nd, taking effect on 1st June, 2017, and quickly followed up with the Implementing Rules on the Licensing of Internet News Information Services <互联网新闻信息服务许可管理实施细则>. This is but one recent example among a series of moves to regulate online content, indicating the priority that the issue takes on China’s overall cybersecurity agenda.
The European Chamber is delighted to welcome you to this seminar on China's New Online Content Provisions, where Sherry Gong, Counsel at Hogan Lovells will interpret the Revised Administrative Measures and the Implementing Rules and their implications that concern companies operating in China; while Bruce Fu, Director, APCO Worldwide will give an overview of China’s recent online content provisions.
