The Cloud Computing market is still relatively new in China. According to Bain & Company, China’s cloud computing market was worth $1.5 billion in 2013 and this figure is expected to go up to $20 billion by 2020, a compound annual growth rate of approximately 40%-45%.
Moving a business to the Cloud can deliver impactful benefits. It is also important to understand which constrainst exist to weigh the positives against the negatives and look for ways of alleviating the constraints and minimise their impact. By looking at what the Cloud can bring to a business, participants will be able to define the reasons to migrate or not migrate to the Cloud.
This seminar will focus on sharing best practices and real life case examples of things that can go wrong when moving to the cloud, and how to avoid them. Participants and speakers will have the opportunity to discuss the pros and cons of the most popular cloud-based manufacturing software and exchange experiences moving from old legacy systems to the cloud.
