On 27th June, 2017 a global Ransomware spread worldwide through an accounting software, crippling its users networks around the world. This attack had a lingering impact on businesses around the world across a diverse range of sectors, including transportation, life sciences, financial services and Government, demonstrating how cybercriminals have power to cause maximum disruption to organisations.
It is the second major global cyberattack in less than two months, following the WannaCry worm that hit computers across the globe in May, and one among a long series of ransomware attacks against all types of companies.
The European Chamber is delighted to welcome Galaad Delval, Isabelle Hajjar and Maxime Oliva as they discuss how companies can protect themselves from ransomware , how to be more preventive and how to react upon infection.
