The European Chamber is delighted to organise a factory visit to BASF's Pudong Site. One of BASF's major sites outside of Germany, with about 2,500 employees.
BASF Pudong site is BASF's first wholly-owned production site in Greater China and it is home to the headquarters of BASF Greater China and the Innovation Campus Asia Pacific. This site is formed by eight production plants and 1 waste water treatment plant. During the visit, participants will visit 1 Production Plant and the R&D Room.
The presentation and the tour will cover the following areas:
- Introduction to BASF
- Visit to 1 plant and 2 R&D Centres

9.15 – 9.30 Registration at the Meeting Point (Century Park)
9.15 – 10.00 Shuttle bus from the Meeting Point (Century Park) to BASF Pudong Site
10.00 – 10.20 Address by Mr Yang LI, Vice President, Operations and Site Management, BACH & BACC at BASF
10.20 – 12.00 Visit to the Resin Plant and 2 R&D Centers ( We will divide in 3 groups and visit all 3 locations)
Resin Plant (amino resin, fixapret, coolant and sokalan. All range for acid-curing& baking finishes, textile, coolant for automobile industry, detergent)
Polyurethane Technical R&D Center (Automotive, CASE, rigid construction and appliances)
R&D Center II (Advanced materials and systems, Formulations and chemical processes and
engineering)
12.00 – 12.50 Shuttle Bus back to the meeting point (Century Park)

Please note that seats are limited. Due to the nature of this event, all registrations will be screened and will need approval from the organizer. Participation in this event is open to non-competitors of the company hosting the visit.

Meeting point & Transportation
The shuttle bus is arranged by the European Chamber. Please note that all payments must be received in advance and the bus will leave on time. Your punctuality is greatly appreciated.

2. If your participation has been confirmed and you wish to go to the plant directly, please inform the European Chamber
Reminders:
1. No video/picture in the factory / R&D Centers / Laboratories
2. No smoking
Due to external factors (traffic, weather,..) Factory visits' arrival and departure time may be delayed.
Cancellation Policy
If you cannot attend the factory visit for which you have registered, please cancel your registration no later than 1 business day prior to the event. If you fail to notify us of your cancellation in a timely fashion, you will be charged for event costs. Walk-ins won't be accepted.
