Mr. Mike Goldammer
Mike Goldammer is a Partner at Taylor Wessing working out of the Munich Office. Mike is heading the Compliance Group within the China Group of Taylor Wessing. Throughout the last 5 years Mike has advised various MNC’s and SME’s from different industries on compliance related matters. This covers both investigation work on complex internal investigations but also setting-up and maintaining compliance management systems for the China operations of his clients.
Mrs. Cara Meng
Cara Meng is a Senior Associate at Taylor Wessing based in Shanghai Office. Cara specializes in advising on compliance matters. Throughout the last 7 years Cara has advised various MNC’s and SME’s from different industries on compliance related matters. This covers both investigation work on complex internal investigations but also setting-up and maintaining compliance management systems for the China operations of foreign invested enterprises. Cara also specializes in general Chinese corporate and commercial law. She advises foreign companies on all aspects of Chinese laws in various industries with regard to their strategy and business in China. Cara’s industrial experience covers in particular the aviation, automobiles, chemical, life science and the general machinery manufacturing sectors.
Mr. Elliot Papageorgiou
Elliot is a Shanghai based European lawyer who advises international companies on contentious and non-contentious IP issues, with a special focus on litigation and enforcement in China. During his last 11 years in China he has conducted a wide range of trade mark and copyright, and especially patent litigation cases in China.
Elliot is “Recommended” for China IP in the Legal 500, ranked in the World Trade Mark Review list of 1000 leading Trade Mark Practitioners in the years 2011 to 2015 as well as Intellectual Asset Management’s (IAM) list of ‘Patent Litigation Top 250 Practitioners 2011 and 2012’ and ‘Top 1000 Leading Patent litigators 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015’
Elliot is a Solicitor (England & Wales), an Attorney-at-Law (NY), and a Barrister & Solicitor (Victoria). He has been practicing IP law since 1995, qualifying with leading Australian firm Clayton Utz. He holds Bachelor degrees in Commerce and Economics from Murdoch University (Western Australia), and read Law at Monash University in Melbourne, before reading for the B.C.L. at St Catherine’s College, University of Oxford. He is currently researching his Doctorate at the University of Bern’s World Trade Institute.
Elliot is the Chair of the European Chamber's IPR Working Group.
