Dear IPR Working Group Member,
We are delighted to invite you to the next IPR Working Group meeting which will take place on Friday, 28th March at 2 pm at the European Chamber Office in Shanghai.
Agenda :
1. Benchmarking Project for IPR Enforcement, Presentation by Paul Ranjard, Beijing IPR WG Chair (20 minutes)
2. Update on EU IPR SME Helpdesk
3. Agenda for the 2008/2009 Position Paper and Key Recommendations priorities
4. Regulatory updates (open discussion)
5. IPR Working Group Report 2007
6. Forward agenda for 2008
At this meeting we will also hold the 2008 IPR Working Group Elections: As you may know, the IPR Working Chairs play a crucial role in driving the Working Group which includes the drafting of the Position Paper, communicating key messages to the Chinese and European Government, and steering the Working Group meetings.
Although the current Co-Chairs Doug Clark and Joe Rogers have graciously expressed their willingness to continue in their respective roles, they along with the Chamber Secretariat encourage any other member that may be interested to also put forth his/her candidature. Anyone who is possibly interested in running for the position of Chair or Vice Chair is therefore kindly requested to inform the Chamber, ikraft@euccc.com.cn, by March 26th.
For space reasons please register for this meeting by RSVP to Alice Drihem, adrihem@euccc.com.cn by Thursday, 27th March 2008 COB.
