The European Chamber of Commerce in China is pleased to announce that the Construction Working Group will hold its next meeting on Thursday, January 31st, 2008, at its offices in Beijing.
Agenda
Amilcar Dacosta, Project Manager for the Construction Sector at CEN (European Committee for Standardisation), will give a presentation on the work that goes on at CEN and its possible applications in China.
Tony Brooks, Researcher at the European Chamber, will give a presentation on the SWITCH Asia proposal that the EUCCC will soon submit on Sustainable Buildings. If the proposal succeeds, the Chamber and its partners would receive at least €2 million over two years from the EU Delegation to complete the project.
Free discussion of the EU-China Conference on Standards and Energy Efficiency in Buildings, which will take place in Beijing on the 29th and 30th of January 2008.
