Dear PCOG WG Member,
The European Chamber is pleased to invite you to the next PCOG Working Group Meeting which will be held on Tuesday, April 15th, 2008 at 14:30 hrs at the European Chamber Office in Shanghai.
At this meeting we continue drafting our recommendations for the 2008 Position Paper. As the Position Paper forms the basis of all our lobbying, members are strongly encouraged both to consult widely within their own company in advance and also to confer with the lead named individual for each lobby point (see attachment) so that we can craft an informed, pithy text for the Position Paper at this meeting.
Proposed Agenda for 15th April PCOG WG Meeting
1. Presentation by Lovells, on IP issues affecting PCOG companies (Lovells)
2. Drafting PCOG recommendations for the 2008 Position Paper (All)
3. Update on PCOG NDRC forum (Ted Xiong).
4. Free training for Working Group companies on REACH chemical regulations (Asia Invest). (Tony Brooks)
5. Feedback on meeting with SEPA 27th March, 2008 (Guillaume Lesage)
6. Feedback on meeting with DG Enterprise 10th March, 2008 (Charles Lagrange)
7. Proposal to cooperate with Automotive group on clean fuels and vehicle emissions (Charles Lagrange/Guillaume Lesage)
8. Follow-up on Ma Jun cooperation proposal (Charles Lagrange)

Charles Lagrange proposes for those interested to join him for a lunch before the PCOG meeting. Please confirm your participation at this meeting by registering with Mr. Piers Barber at pbarber@euccc.com.cn by Friday April 11th, stating whether or not you would like to attend the networking lunch beforehand. (The lunch is scheduled for 12:30 hrs in the T8 restaurant (in Xi Tian Di, on Huampi road) prior to the meeting).
