Dear member,
As you may know, every year, the President of the European Chamber leads a delegation of senior representatives to present the annual Position Paper to high level representatives of the European Union Institutions in Brussels. This year the trip took place in the last week of September. In an effort to create awareness about this important initiative and to follow up on the outcome of these high level meetings, the Chamber would like to invite you to a meeting for a debriefing session with Massimo Bagnasco, VP of the Chamber.
Furthermore, in order to strengthen the outreach of our working groups, there will be a dedicated session aimed at better identifying the roles and responsibilities of Chairs and Vice Chairs, open also to those members who are considering taking up the role in the context of the upcoming WG elections (March 2019). On a final note, being the Position Paper the Chamber’s key lobbying tool aimed at reproducing the industry’s main concerns, clarifying the drafting process beforehand would constitute a significant step to ensure a greater involvement of potentially interested members.
