Detail Implementation Rules – Labour Contract law
Main Topic
The new Contract Labour Law has been implemented on 1st January 2008. On 9th May the State Council's Legislative Affairs Office (SCLAO) released the 1st draft Implementing Rules for the PRC Labour Contract Law.
The Human Resources and Legal Working Group will met to discuss the new Detail Implementation Rules of the Labour Contract law as well as share their experiences and issues after 6 month of implementation and what impact the Detail Implementation Rules will have on their Human Resources. The chairman of the Legal Working Group will introduce the main guidelines of the DIR.
About the Speakers
Mr. Vivian Desmonts, attorney at law at the Paris bar, is the head of DS Avocats law firm's Guangdong office.
He has joined the Firm in 1998 in their China Law Department and has worked in their offices in Paris and Shanghai. Since 2004, he has been developing the Firm’s activities in South China and has set up their Guangzhou office.
His practice focuses on Foreign Investments in the PRC and covers corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, labor law, tax & customs law and intellectual property law.
