In the meanwhile, the European Commission supported by the industry both in Brussels and in Beijing, is constructively engaging the Chinese government aiming to find a shared solution to the many issues that are still plaguing the industry. On this regard, on July 31st representatives of the European institutions will meet with delegates from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in Shanghai for the 7th round of the EU-China Dialogue on the Shipbuilding sector.
Against such backdrop, the Shipbuilding Working Group invites you to its first official meeting. The scope of the event will be discussing the Working Group action plan and advocacy priorities for the coming year, deciding what kind of actions will be appropriate to better advocate for the points expressed in the position paper, analyzing the main outcomes of the EU-China dialogue on Shipbuilding of July 31st.
