One of the hottest words of 2019 is ‘uncertainty’. With the impact of the trade war between the US and China, the significant advancements in new technologies (AI, automation and robotics), and the talent battle within the leading domestic companies in China, we are experiencing disruptive changes in both our personal lives and the workplace.
What is the outlook for the future of work? The experience will be aligned with the transition of business models, and new skills will be required as a consequence. As key stakeholders in driving and influencing the development of organisations and contributing to business objectives through human capital management (HCM), what actions should HR personnel take to prepare for the new forms of work of the future? What approach can we adopt to shape our talent strategies for workforce readiness in the future?
At this year’s annual Human Capital Conference, the European Chamber is delighted to invite our keynote speakers as well as CEOs and HR vice presidents (HRVPs) from well-known companies to provide insights on the global and local trends, and share their perspectives and best practices on the future of work. Meanwhile, we will also invite members of the younger generation from top universities to share their expectations on their future employment.
* The European Chamber is pleased to extend one complimentary ticket to the in-house HR from the member companies in Beijing. There will be limited seating, and registration will be based on a first come, first served basis. To RSVP, please provide your company name, title and contact number to Mingming Li mmli@europeanchamber.com.cn
