Increasing trade tensions between the United States and China are making headlines. The trade friction is no longer a new concept and it has changed the business landscape for multinational companies with operations in China. The new landscape is forcing companies to perform a review of their current supply chains in light of the new environment and explore solutions to tackle these new challenges.
The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China is pleased to invite you to a seminar with Susi Luo, Head of Tax, APAC at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Silina Zhong, Transfer Pricing Partner at PwC China, and Asta Nie, Worldtrade Management Services Partner at PwC China. During this seminar, the speakers shall be discussing this new business environment especially in relation to:
- the challenges seen by multinational companies due to the trade war;
- the short term and long term strategies which multinational companies are adopting to assuage the impact of the trade friction and managing tariff expenses; and particularly
- customs and transfer pricing implications of amending a group’s supply chain.
