Dr. LI Huini, partner of ADAMAS, has extensive experience in legal consultancy services in the foreign investment in China, corporate law, M&A, energy, transportation, high technology, equipment manufacturing and infrastructure construction projects. Her credentials include: assisting a famous French transportation company to participate in several subway and light rail PPP projects; assisting a French pharmaceutical company to complete the restructuring of its Chinese project and the public listing, assisting in the establishment of dozens of Sino-foreign joint ventures in the field of equipment manufacturing and providing daily legal services, assisting in several solar PV projects.

Dr. LI is also very experienced in advising Chinese entities for their investments in France, Germany and Africa. She advised numbers of Chinese SOEs’ and large private enterprises’ outbound investment projects.

In her 15 years career path, she worked at Chinese, German, Swiss law and French firms in Beijing, Shanghai, Zurich and Paris. As the partner of ADAMAS, which is the existing first foreign law firm that have obtained the licence from the PRC Ministry of Justice to practice in China since 1992, Dr. LI leads the teams of the firm in both Beijing and Shanghai to provide tailor-made services to the clients all around China.

Mr. Alban RENAUD is the partner and the head of Asia Desk of ADAMAS Avocats. As an expert of commercial law, he is specialized in assisting his clients for the investment in China, international trade, franchising, participation in government cooperative projects, protection of intellectual property, and providing enterprise daily legal services including drafting, review and negotiation of various contracts. Mr. Alban RENAUD has been providing legal services in China to European clients for more than 10 years for now, with projects covering a variety of fields which include clean energy, environmental protection and other emerging industries.

Mr. Chen graduated from University of Fribourg (BLaw & MLaw) in Switzerland and has a lawyer license issued by the Chinese State. Proficient in Chinese, German and English, he has practicing experience of nearly 14 years, during which he provided legal services in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, litigation and arbitration for a number of European companies, especially Swiss companies. Meanwhile, as the only lawyer recommended by the Embassy of China in Switzerland and also suggested by the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Switzerland, he has assisted many Chinese state-owned and private companies in their investments and acquisitions in Switzerland. He has a good knowledge of Europe, especially when it comes to Swiss culture, values and ways of thinking. Through his ability to comparatively read the legal systems of these two countries, his proficiency in multilingualism, and his pragmatic approach to problem- solving, he has brought strong support to his clients both at home and abroad.
