Dear IT&T Working Group Member,
The European Chamber will be hosting a meeting on Waste Electric and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Management on Wednesday, August 27th from 14:00 to 15:30 at the European Chamber office in Beijing. This is a joint meeting with Environment, Energy, IT&T, Non-ferrous and Healthcare Working Groups.
For the WEEE meeting we have the pleasure of hosting Dr. Jianxin Yang from the Chinese Academy of Sciences' Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences. Dr. Yang will give a 15-minute presentation on the multiple aspects and the future of WEEE management in China. Dr. Yang's presentation will be followed by a Q&A session and a roundtable discussion on WEEE.
