The Shanghai Chapter of the European Chamber is pleased to invite you to the first 2020 HRD Roundtable “Creating Value in Times of Crisis: HR Practice Sharing of COVID-19 Crisis Management from Covestro China”, which is taking place on Thursday, 30^th April, 3:30pm to 4:30pm (GMT+8, China time), via Zoom.

At this online HRD roundtable, Lesley Lin, Head of HR at Covestro China (see attached bio for details), will delve into the ways in which HR departments can effectively deal with the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, mitigating company risk through ad-hoc strategies and preventive measures. More specifically, Lesley Lin’s presentation will examine how HR can:

• Respond quickly and issue timely working guidance
• Care about employees during the outbreak
• Support crisis management and improve efficiency through HR analytics
• Turn obstacles into opportunities — strengthen e-learning and employer-branding

Lesley Lin has over 18-year working experience in Human Resource. Almost 13-year experience in Covestro (former Bayer MaterialScience) as Head of Compensation & Benefits China, Senior HR BP of Integrated Shanghai Site and Head of HR BP China. Lesley is the Head of HR Greater China Covestro since 2015.

Lesley has solid & practical experience in Human Resource: e.g. C&B Project Design and Implementation; Employee Competency and Leadership Enhancement; During change phase, how to realize re-organization, Change Management and Company Culture Building up.
