The European Chamber’s is delighted to invite you to the webinar “Office, Retail, Residential, Industrial and Hotel Property Markets amid the COVID-19 Outbreak” which is to take place on Tuesday 12th May 2020 16:00-18:00 pm (GMT+8).
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, short-term impacts on economic growth, business activity and individual behaviour are undeniable and, while the current consensus appears to be for a rebound in the global economy in H2 2020, the exact trajectory is unknowable. The further the outbreak widens and the longer it persists, the greater the chance of a more prolonged impact on the global economy and, by extension, property markets. The question, then, becomes to want extent the industry will suffer due to the ‘social distancing’ measures installed by the government, and seeing how the industry is to adapt to these challenging conditions.
At this webinar three distinguished speakers will offer their valuable insights.
- Luis Keats, Director, Markets, JLL will present an overview of the Shanghai Office Property Market and discuss how offices, regardless of size or business model, can navigate the storm.
- Shaun Brodie, Senior Director & Head of Occupier Research, Cushman & Wakefield, Chair of the Construction Working Group, will discuss the impact on the Hotel Property Market and the general Property Market in East China.
- James Macdonald, Head of Research, Savills Research China will cover the Retail Property Market and Residential Property Market.
