2020 has presented a challenging backdrop of pandemic, trade tensions and economic downturn, making it increasingly important for companies to better engage with media, tell their China stories, voice their stances and fight disinformation together with media. It’s also important to consider the opportunities and continued challenges for media outlets and brands presented by the incoming US administration’s approach on China. This event will take a practical approach of how communications professionals can effectively connect with media, and how COVID-19 has impacted the media as well as their relationship with communications professionals.
To tackle this important topic, the European Chamber Marketing and Communications Forum is delighted to invite seasoned journalists from international and domestic media outlets to have an off-the-record discussion. What stories are China-based media most interested in right now? How has coverage shifted throughout the pandemic? What are news agency’s content plans right now and moving into 2021?
Join the discussion on 3rd December, 14:00-16:00 at the European Chamber Beijing office or attend online via Zoom. Please contact marketing.intern@europeanchamber.com.cn if you would like to attend onsite.
