We would love to hear your feedback, and it just takes a minute.
By most measures, China's recovery from COVID-19 is a success. Activity is back above pre-pandemic levels and, in the third quarter, 4.9% higher than in 2019. China’s production resumption was quick and concerns at the start of the pandemic that China could trigger a global supply disruption have proven misplaced.
While China's recovery has been strong, the glass is half-full but not yet overflowing with good news. 2021 will offer a similar mix of ever evolving challenges, growing separation between the US and China in technology sectors seems inevitable and could hamper development efforts.
What can we expect in China in 2021? Are US-China tensions a bigger threat than the virus? What can businesses do to prepare for the year ahead?
This year's China Outlook conference will look into the 14FYP and the impact of geopolitical tensions on businesses in China. The European Chamber is delighted to welcome industry leaders, economists and academia to explore the rising challenges and opportunities that are to be expected in 2021.
